"How i've grown as a writer"?
Since i came into this class i had no idea on how to do lit circles notes, double-entry journals,cornell notes(etc).The teacher would explain what would it mean and why is it important to do does notes.At the beggining i also had trouble doing essays.Doing notes and listening,paying alot of attension was really helpful to me.Going over the notes and handouts helped me raise up my grade.Reading and writing is what gets your reading level higher.

The in class essays,workbook notes,reflections,stream of conseciousness,connect to my life essays is the work we do in class.The read and response homework is what i do everyday when i get home,i write a page of what i read.Each chapter is what i read everyday for 30 to 40min.I work on my vocabulary everyday,so when we take test i know what every word means.When i dont understand a word i look up the meaning of it and when i go over it i understand it.But it several times that i read and dont get it.

So when i dont understand a phrase or a workbook question then i asked the teacher to help me and vertify the confusioness.Assessments we also do in class are the persuasion assessments.We answer questions after we read a rough draft.Learnng how and what to write is what benefits you the most.Beeing a writer is a career because it gets you to be famous and beneath the other things it makes you seem really smart.

The story that i think is really interesting and that i also like the most is "ALWAYS RUNNING".Unfortunatly i only read half of the book but what i read really shoked me and open my eye's.After i would read a chapter from the book,i would write a read and response.Writing what i read is better because i would write what i understood, and that would make me know what the book is about.Another reason why i like that book is because the author is"LUIS RODRIGUEZ"is a great person.He came to my high school and he shared his life with us and gave us examples of what he went through.He wrote about his life in the book and that is why i like reading his books.Him, besides beeing a writer his also a poet.

He was not embarrased of publishing his story life,it was the opposite he wanted to write tje book based on his life for people could see and know how his life was and everything he went through.He is an example of every guy who is part of a gang or justwants to join one.He is a great author that is why i love his books.
